Business Development Executive (BDE)

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our IT services team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in lead generation, client acquisition, and relationship management within the IT industry. You will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities and building long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, and generate new business opportunities for IT services (web development, mobile apps, software solutions, cloud, support, etc.)
  • Develop and execute strategies for outreach through LinkedIn, email campaigns, cold calling, and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients globally.
  • Understand client requirements and collaborate with the technical team to prepare proposals, quotations, and service offerings.
  • Conduct online demos, presentations, and meetings to showcase company capabilities.
  • Follow up with leads, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain CRM data and prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of proven experience in Business Development or Sales within an IT services company.
  • Strong understanding of software development services, technologies, and outsourcing models.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with lead generation tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Upwork, freelancer platforms, email tools, etc.).
  • Ability to understand client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):

  • Experience working with international clients (US/UK/Canada/Singapore).
  • Knowledge of CRM tools like HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, etc.
  • Understanding of IT project estimation and proposal writing.
