Business Development Associate

Role Overview: As a highly organized and proactive individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and strong work ethic, you will be responsible for generating new business for a global brand portfolio and managing Indian licensee partners within a fast-paced environment. Your main duties will include ideating brand extension strategies for clients, developing and pitching prospects, negotiating commercial terms, finalizing legal contracts, leading business plan development, and working with clients to deliver strategic licensing plans. Additionally, you will be involved in sales, licensee, and client management, as well as overseeing product development, approvals, customer presentations, and expanding product and territory opportunities. Key Responsibilities: - Ideating Brand Extension strategy for clients - Developing and pitching prospects, negotiating commercial terms, and finalizing legal contracts - Leading the development of business plans and working with clients on strategic licensing plans - Managing sales, licensee, and client relationships - Working closely with licensees to oversee product development, approvals, customer presentations, and expand product and territory opportunities Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in business development, brand/product development, or category management - Proven commercial experience in prospecting, pitching, and negotiation - Fluency in English; multi-language skills desirable About the Company: LicenseWorks is a market leader in Brand Extension & Brand Licensing services in the Indian market.
