Job Summary

The Business Development Associate at Edwin Academy will play a vital role in expanding the academy’s outreach by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective students and partners, and supporting overall growth strategies for the Calicut branch. The role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and a passion for the education sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential clients including students, parents, institutions, and corporate partners within the Calicut region.
  • Generate leads through online platforms, referrals, events, and local networks.
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategic plans to increase enrolments and academy visibility.
  • Maintain and update CRM databases with accurate client information and track interactions.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and promotional materials to prospective clients and partners.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and admissions teams to align outreach efforts.
  • Support negotiation and closing of enrolment opportunities and partnership agreements.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide feedback for strategic planning.
  • Participate in local education fairs, awareness programs, and networking events.
  • Provide timely responses to inquiries and ensure excellent customer service.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or any related field.
  • 0-2 years experience in sales, business development, marketing, or client-facing roles (internship experience acceptable).
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Office applications is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Malayalam.
  • Proactive, target-driven, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Passionate about the education sector and helping students achieve their goals.
