Role Overview

As a Business Development Executive (BDE), you will play a pivotal role in driving Ipsator’s business growth. You will identify new business opportunities, manage tendering and proposal processes, and build strong relationships with clients. This role blends strategic thinking, market research, and execution excellence — ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Development & Lead Generation

  • Identify, research, and qualify business opportunities across government, PSU, and private sectors.
  • Actively explore central, state, and departmental e-procurement portals (CPPP, GeM, NIC, etc.) for potential tenders.
  • Maintain and grow a lead funnel using digital platforms, industry events, and direct outreach.
  • Support in creating targeted outreach strategies for different verticals and geographies.

Tender Management & Proposal Development

  • Evaluate RFPs/EOIs and prepare complete tender documentation (technical, financial, and pre-qualification).
  • Coordinate with internal technical and project teams for content, compliance, and cost estimation.
  • Ensure timely submission of bids and maintain records of all submissions, queries, and clarifications.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, capability statements, and project credentials.

Client & Partner Engagement

  • Build, nurture, and manage client relationships through consistent communication and support.
  • Liaise with government officials, procurement officers, and institutional stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings, demonstrations, and proposal discussions with potential clients and partners.

Business Research & Strategy Support

  • Conduct sectoral research to identify upcoming digital initiatives, policy changes, and technology trends.
  • Analyze competitors, pricing, and partnership models to refine Ipsator’s positioning.
  • Support in creating business development reports, dashboards, and performance trackers.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain an updated CRM and tender tracker.
  • Provide regular progress reports to management on lead conversion, bid success, and client interactions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless transition from business acquisition to project execution.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Confident, self-driven, and comfortable interacting with senior officials and CXOs.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or related field.
  • 0–3 years of experience in business development, tender management, or consulting (preferably in IT/ITeS sector).
  • Fresh graduates with strong aptitude and interest in public sector business development may also apply.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
