Business Analyst with SQL. Experience: 2-4 Years Location: Chennai (Work from Office) This role is ideal for a self-driven professional eager to learn, adapt, and work both independently and collaboratively. The candidate should have a strong background in banking operations and be comfortable with evolving business requirements. Key Responsibilities: Strong understanding of the payments industry/domain. Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to effectively set priorities, ensuring backlog items are clearly defined and organized for maximum team efficiency. Define, publish, and elaborate user story requirements in a timely manner. Provide quick and concise clarifications for user stories, answering team queries efficiently. Develop clear, testable acceptance criteria for user stories. Facilitate the breakdown of larger tasks into smaller, value-driven deliverables that fit within sprints. Engage with internal stakeholders and external contacts to provide direction independently. Maximize business value and ensure high-quality deliverables from agile teams. Represent the organization in front of customers and industry prospects. Identify opportunities to improve team velocity and performance. Act as the primary point of contact for product-related queries, working closely with product development and business analyst teams. Effectively communicate market requirements to internal and external technology partners. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience in banking operations (mandatory). Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to drive change and influence actions across the organization. Good technical knowledge with an understanding of software development and web technologies. SQL experience (preferred but not mandatory). Knowledge of MasterCard/Visa Scheme file formats (mandatory). Strong accountability and a proactive, hands-on approach
