Yapsody India is hiring for the role of a Business Analyst/ QA. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. Your role will involve elements of both quality assurance testing and business analysis, requiring a versatile skill set to understand business requirements, design test plans, execute test cases, and provide valuable insights to enhance product quality and efficiency. Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and requirements. Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements using various techniques such as interviews, workshops, and documentation review. Translate business requirements into clear and detailed functional specifications, user stories, and use cases. Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications. Execute test cases manually Identify, document, and track software defects and issues using bug tracking systems. Work closely with software developers to reproduce, investigate, and resolve reported issues. Perform regression testing to ensure that previously identified issues have been resolved and do not reoccur. Facilitate communication and collaboration between business stakeholders, development teams, and other project stakeholders. Provide ongoing support and training to end-users to facilitate successful adoption of new systems and processes. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and recommend improvements as needed. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. Experience of 3 - 4 years in both quality assurance testing and business analysis roles. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum). Automation Test script writing [Good to have] Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Webdriver IO, Javascript). [Good to have] Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels. Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
