Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Gathering and Analyzing Healthcare Data: Collects, interprets, and reports healthcare data to identify trends, support strategic decisions, and provide actionable insights for management and stakeholders
Process Improvement: Identifies inefficiencies in clinical and operational workflows, designs solutions, and implements initiatives that optimize resources and enhance performance
System Integration and Technology Implementation: Works closely with IT teams to recommend, integrate, and oversee new healthcare technologies and systems such as EHRs, ensuring alignment with business needs
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensures adherence to healthcare regulations like HIPAA, GDPR, and CMS requirements, develops and implements compliance policies, and conducts audits to mitigate risks
Stakeholder Collaboration: Serves as a liaison between clinical, administrative, and technical teams to facilitate communication and drive successful change management
Reporting and Documentation: Creates and maintains detailed reports, dashboards, workflow diagrams, and documentation to support decision-making and demonstrate regulatory compliance

Specialized Responsibilities

Cost-Benefit Analysis: Evaluates proposed projects, technologies, or vendors for financial viability and efficiency improvements
Project Management: Oversees healthcare improvement projects, facilitates meetings with cross-functional teams, and manages project timelines and deliverables
Enhancing Patient Experience: Develops recommendations that improve the quality of patient care and overall patient experience without sacrificing operational efficiency.
