Job Description

As a Business Analyst specializing in the insurance domain, you will be a crucial part of our team, dedicated to handling wholesale insurance processes and utilizing Vertafore products like AIM and AMS. Your main responsibilities will involve gathering, analyzing, and validating business requirements, as well as supporting technology implementations across various insurance platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders in underwriting, claims, and policy servicing areas. - Map out end-to-end processes concerning submissions, policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and binders. - Collaborate with both business users and technical teams to translate requirements into system functionalities, user stories, or specifications. - Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to comprehend regulatory needs, broker-carrier workflows, and dynamics of the E&S market. - Engage in system implementations, particularly focusing on Vertafore AIM, AMS, and ImageRight. - Enhance document and workflow automation systems while ensuring regulatory compliance. - Assist in UAT planning and execution, create process documentation, and contribute to training and rollout plans. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field. Master's degree or certifications (CBAP, AINS, etc.) are preferred. - 3-7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the insurance industry, with a preference for E&S or Wholesale expertise. - Hands-on experience with Vertafore products (AIM, AMS) and ImageRight is highly desirable. - Strong understanding of E&S workflows, regulatory nuances, and broker-carrier relationships. - Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. - Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall delivery models. Additionally, please note that this is a full-time position requiring in-person work at our location.,
