Company : CraftAny IT Solutions LLP; Position : Business Analyst Job Responsibilities: Writes functional requirements (including story mapping, acceptance criteria, user stories, workflows, etc.) Analyzesand independentlyidentifies problems within the software and/or clients data to create requirements Documents complex system processes, business rules and logic needed to fully incorporate a business process into the system Ensures requirements/stories are collaboratively defined, written, and understood by the team at the appropriate level and at the right size in order to deliver value Supportsengineers in implementing requirements by prioritizing, refining, and clarifying requirements Identifies and documents story dependencies to help facilitate backlog refinement sessions Providesinput to action plans to resolve client problems Developsrequirements and specifications for software solutions by studying information needs: conferring with users,studying systems flows, data usage and work processes, investigating problem areas Solves problems and/or conducts analyses Functionsas a liaison between R&D, product management, support, client services, and/or clients Tracksand documentsprogress of requirements which may include identifying roadblocks, proposing, and troubleshooting solutions Facilitatesa team to consensus on scope, design, and implementation decisions Asksstrong questions tohelpthe team see areas that may lead to problems Strengthens job and product knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations Conducts training to fellow team members Participates on special organizational projects relating to continuous improvements Identifies areas of improvements within existing processes, proposing ideas and suggestions Required Skills: 5+ years as a business analyst in a software development environment 5+ years experience in information analysis, software design, software documentation, software testing, software development fundamentals, software development process, software requirements Technology oriented – technical aptitude Strong verbal and written communication skills Interpersonal and consultative skills Facilitation skills Analytical thinking and problem solving Being detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy Organizational skills Knowledge of business structure • Stakeholder analysis Understanding of networks, databases and other technology www.craftany.com Desired Skills / Experience: Healthcare software experience withhealthcare claims data and/or electronic health records Working knowledge of Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, Azure Boards Understanding of clinical workflow Required Education (including certifications): Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field A business analyst certification such as: CSBA, ECBA, CBAP, CPRE Desired Education (including certifications): Certified Software Business Analyst (CSBA) IIBA Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) IIBA Certified Business Analyst Processional (CBAP) IREB Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (CPRE) Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) Certified Scrum Master
