You will be a key member of a specialist Business Analyst team dedicated to delivering technical solutions for the Corporate Lending business. You will collaborate closely with several front office partners who are aiming to significantly enhance their capabilities, both in the short and long term, to better serve our clients. Description of role and key responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements Create user stories that capture the needs of stakeholders, ensuring they are clear, concise, and actionable. Define acceptance criteria for each user story to establish clear conditions for success and ensure alignment with business objectives. Work closely with Developers to ensure that technical solutions align with business objectives, needs and requirements. Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to elicit requirements, provide feedback and validate proposed solutions. Create engaging project artefacts, models and business processes Assist in the testing and validation of new requirements and processes to ensure they meet business needs and compliance standards. Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes. Collaborate closely with product designers to implement system user journeys that enhance operational efficiency and deliver greater value. Core skills and knowledge The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with the ability to employ various techniques to ensure business objectives are met. They will effectively relay Business need to developers and conversely demonstrate technical solutions to the Business. Team player mind set and flexibility to approach problems from different perspectives will be key to success. Core skills include: Proven experience in performing Requirements Elicitation, Facilitation of Workshops and documentation of User Stories Proven experience in process mapping, business process re-engineering. Proven experience creating detailed process flows, demonstrating a strong grasp of UML techniques to model Business process and system activity. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Other beneficial attributes include: Experience as a Business Analyst, with a background within Corporate Lending highly beneficial but not crucial for the role. Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies is advantageous. Experience with Azure DevOps for managing user stories and acceptance criteria beneficial. Experience using process centric related tools, e.g. Lucid Chart, MS Visio, MIRO. Systems Analysis and technical knowledge of systems beneficial. Professional certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis ) are a plus.
