Business Affairs Coordinator

Role Overview: You are being considered for the position of Senior Business Affairs Co-Ordinator at the new Chennai operation in India, which will serve as a crucial large-scale production hub for all global hubs. Key Responsibilities: - Attend project status meetings to understand delivery dates and project timelines - Communicate with luxury clients and affiliates to obtain TV media plans - Coordinate with TV channels to acquire specifications and delivery deadlines - Collaborate with Transcreation account management team to convey deadlines and assist in prioritizing production - Gather media schedules from the Account Team - Ensure all necessary clearance information is obtained, such as clock number, client production name, on-screen details, VO artist, music composer, etc. - Manage clear cast obligations and stages - Obtain and manage script copies, rough cuts, and substantiation documents - Research TV clearance and regulations in international markets - Negotiate fees and arrange contracts for visual & music licensing - Obtain competitive quotes for delivery based on timelines - Coordinate delivery with Bookings and Edit Assistant - Maintain the Hogarth Clock Book and issue clock numbers when necessary Qualifications Required: - Familiarity with International clearance bodies and processes - Understanding of international rights management and distribution processes - Ability to multitask effectively either independently or as part of a team - Friendly, cooperative, and confident in managing expectations - Tech-savvy with a proactive approach to expanding the TV Admin department Please note that WPP is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
