The ideal candidate will have a masters degree and will have the curiosity and enthusiasm to reach beyond their area of expertise, create content about topics that may not be immediately familiar, and be energized by sharing what they know and what theyve learned with Britannicas audience. Planning, in partnership with colleagues, contributors, and advisers, how Britannica can expand and maintain its coverage of topics in the assigned disciplines. Working with colleagues and managers to identify articles that need revision and updating such articles so that they are current, engaging to todays learners, and complete. Collaborating with media editors and illustrators on the acquisition and production of images, videos, and other media. Working with other editors during the revision and fact-checking process.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS The applicant should have significant writing and editing experience.
