Role Overview The Brand Partnerships Manager plays a critical role in driving revenue through aggressive acquisition of new brand clients and forging strategic content and influencer marketing collaborations. This role is heavily BD-focused, involving pitching, closing, and growing brand relationships across sectors. The ideal candidate is a hustler, with a strong grasp of digital content, brand objectives, and the influencer marketing ecosystem. Key Responsibilities 1. New Business Development Identify, prospect, and build a pipeline of brand partners across categories like FMCG, tech, lifestyle, fashion, beauty, and BFSI. Own the complete sales lifecycle — from outreach and pitching to closing and onboarding clients. Craft bespoke influencer marketing and content-led solutions aligned with brand goals. Lead negotiations and close partnership deals with clear revenue outcomes. 2. Client Strategy & Solutions Work with cross-functional teams to conceptualize impactful influencer/content marketing campaigns. Collaborate on campaign structure, pricing, and influencer selection to present winning proposals. Stay updated on digital and influencer trends to recommend innovative solutions to brands. 3. Revenue Ownership Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets. Drive account-level revenue through upselling, renewals, and expanding brand mandates. Maintain accurate tracking of leads, deal stages, and revenue forecasts via internal systems. 4. Relationship Management Build long-term relationships with marketing decision-makers and media agency partners. Represent Barcode at industry events, brand roundtables, and marketing forums. Work closely with account management to ensure seamless handover and campaign delivery. 5. Market Intelligence Stay on top of competitor activity, brand campaigns, and influencer performance benchmarks. Identify content gaps and category trends to proactively pitch relevant formats. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Number of new brand accounts opened monthly Revenue generated from new and existing clients Pitch-to-close ratio Client retention and repeat business Number of strategic partnerships signed Number of upsell/cross-sell proposals executed Candidate Profile Experience: 3–5 years in business development or sales roles, preferably in influencer marketing, digital media, or branded content agencies. Skills & Attributes: Strong network in the marketing and brand community Excellent pitching and negotiation skills Deep understanding of the creator economy and influencer-led campaigns Proven ability to meet sales targets in a fast-paced environment High energy, self-driven, and a “hunter” mentality Proficient in preparing decks, business proposals, and partnership documents Show more Show less
