Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Brand Manager with a strong foundation in sales and a passion for building high-impact consumer brands. This role blends brand management, product development, and performance marketing with deep involvement in business tracking, competitive benchmarking, and category growth strategies. A prior sales background is essential to understand on-ground market dynamics and drive brand execution across touchpoints.


Key Responsibilities:


Brand & Product Management

•Develop and execute brand positioning, messaging, and product launch strategies

•Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, collaborating with product, design, and R&D teams

•Ensure brand consistency across channels and consumer touchpoints

Performance & Digital Marketing

•Lead digital and performance marketing campaigns to drive brand growth and ROI

•Monitor campaign performance, optimize spend, and leverage analytics for decision-making

•Coordinate with media and creative agencies for effective brand communications

Business & Market Tracking

•Track key business metrics including sales, market share, brand health, and category performance

•Leverage market research, internal data, and syndicated reports (Nielsen, etc.) for insights

•Present actionable business recommendations to management

Competition Benchmarking & Analysis

•Conduct regular competitor benchmarking across pricing, product, marketing, and innovation

•Analyze consumer trends, product gaps, and white space opportunities in the category

Cross-Functional & Cross-Channel Coordination

•Collaborate with Sales, E-commerce, Supply Chain, Design, and Finance to drive brand goals

•Coordinate seamless product rollouts and marketing campaigns across online and offline channels

Category Growth & Sales Integration

•Translate consumer and market insights into strategic actions for category expansion

•Work closely with the sales team to ensure availability, visibility, and sell-through

•Understand field-level challenges and align brand strategies to market needs

Required Skills & Qualifications:

•MBA/PGDM in Marketing or a related field from a reputed institute


Mandatory:

•3–6 years of relevant experience in Brand Management, preferably in FMCG or D2C

•Strong understanding of brand strategy, product marketing, and go-to-market planning

•Hands-on experience with performance marketing and digital campaign management

•Proficiency in using market and business analytics tools (Nielsen, Google Analytics, etc.)

•Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and cross-functional coordination skills
