Branch Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Sales

• Drive sales of

  Home Loans, LAP

  , and other housing finance products.
• Achieve monthly and annual business targets for the branch.
  
• Develop and maintain relationships with

  DSAs, connectors, builders, real estate agents, and local market influencers

  .
• Conduct market mapping and identify new business opportunities.
  

2. Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and motivate the branch team (Sales Executives, Credit, Operations staff).
  
• Monitor daily productivity and provide training wherever required.
  
• Ensure target achievement through effective team management.
  

3. Credit & Portfolio Quality

• Ensure high-quality sourcing as per credit policy.
  
• Coordinate with credit managers for quick TAT in file processing.
  
• Monitor portfolio health

  delinquency control, early bucket management, field visits

• Ensure strict KYC and documentation compliance.
  

4. Branch Operations

• Oversee complete branch functioning including sales, credit coordination, operations, and collections.
  
• Ensure customer satisfaction through smooth processing, disbursals, and service.
  
• Maintain branch MIS, reports, and audit compliance.
  

5. Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure adherence to all internal and regulatory guidelines.
  
• Handle internal audit queries, policy adherence, and process improvement.
  
• Monitor competitor activities and suggest corrective actions.
  

Key Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of

  home loan/LAP products

  .
• Good understanding of

  credit policies, legal & technical processes

  .
• Excellent communication and people management skills.
  
• Market knowledge and strong DSA/builder network.
  
• Ability to drive sales and manage portfolio risks.
  

Qualifications

• Graduation mandatory; MBA preferred.
  
• 5–10 years of experience in

  housing finance / NBFC / banking

  with minimum 2–3 years in a leadership role.
