This role presents an opportunity to work on challenging projects and develop professionally in the electrical and instrumentation domain, particularly focusing on power plant and renewable energy projects. If you are passionate about leading a talented team and driving technical excellence, we encourage you to apply. As Siemens Energy, the aim is to "energize society" by supporting customers in transitioning to a more sustainable world using innovative technologies and turning ideas into reality. This involves expanding renewables, transforming conventional power, strengthening electrical grids, driving industrial decarbonization, and securing the supply chain and necessary minerals. In your new role as a Power Plant Commissioning Manager, you will lead and manage pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and performance testing activities for power plant systems. This includes waste heat recovery boilers, AFBC/CFBC boilers, biomass-fired boilers, steam turbines and auxiliaries, as well as various balance of plant systems. You will coordinate with EPC contractors, OEMs, third-party inspectors, and client teams for seamless integration, ensuring safety and compliance throughout the commissioning process. Key responsibilities include overseeing mechanical completion, system flushing, and readiness for commissioning, as well as leading functional testing, interlock checking, and logic validation with DCS/PLC/SCADA teams. You will drive the execution of Performance Guarantee Tests (PGT), conduct root cause analysis of startup issues, and review commissioning documentation to ensure compliance with relevant standards. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Power Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in power plant commissioning, especially in WHR, biomass, and captive/co-generation plants. Strong technical expertise in boiler/turbine/generator commissioning, familiarity with electrical systems, instrumentation and control systems, safety systems, and relevant standards is required. Excellent team management, leadership, communication skills, and willingness to work on remote or international project sites are essential. Preferred certifications include OEM Equipment Training, PMP or Construction Project Management, and NEBOSH/Safety Certification. Siemens is dedicated to equality and welcomes diverse applications. Employment decisions are based on qualifications, merit, and business needs. Join Siemens and contribute to building the future with your curiosity and imagination.,
