Finance Transformation
Join our Finance Transformation practice to help Deloitte client service teams define and execute Finance and Global Business Services agendas and strategies. You will work with world-class teams and insights, helping support delivery in challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to help unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we collaborate with teams to enable transforming finance.
Position Summary
Level:
Consultant or equivalentAs an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting Services, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you’ll do:
You’ll work with Deloitte teams and diverse corporations, including multinationals across financial services, energy, manufacturing, and health sciences. Your responsibilities include delivering finance transformation projects through assessments, GAP analyses, policy design, and implementation roadmaps. You’ll manage end-to-end Record to Report solutions (e.g., BlackLine, Cadency, Oracle ARCS, SAP), automate accounting functions for improved financial insight, and conduct SOX compliance reviews. Additionally, you’ll map business to technical requirements, assess vendors, and leverage Tier 1 ERP technologies to resolve complex challenges—designing and deploying data structures, forms, and reports for multiple enterprise solutions efficiently.
The team:
Controllership & Treasury Transformation (C&TT) is one of the offerings within the Finance Transformation portfolio of Deloitte US India Consulting. This Offering advises, implements, and delivers solution as-a-service relating to digital finance strategies, financial planning and analysis, enterprise performance strategies and technologies solutions. By taking a holistic view of these key business areas from strategy development through process design and technology enablement, we help our clients navigate their challenges while continuing to succeed in their business.
Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- Experience — 3 years to 5 years
- 3-5 years of technical or advisory-related experience in entity and enterprise accounting, technical accounting, financial planning, RTR tools implementation, Finance Transformation, Financial consolidation and reporting
- Functional and Technical expertise in end to end implementation of record to report solutions (BlackLine, Cadency, Oracle Arcs, SAP Close cockpit, Planful, Workiva, Workday)
- Project experience and expertise in areas such as current state assessment, benchmarking analysis, maturity assessment, Chart of Accounts redesign, finance process transformation, process mapping, root cause/gap analysis/best fit, requirements gathering / definition development, financial modeling and value mapping
- Project experience in requirements gathering / definition development and business process mapping
- Experience in leading high performing global teams and delivering quality work to fortune clients
- Demonstrated passion for innovation and use of Digital Core technologies (e.g., SAP and/or Oracle) to solve business issues
- Working knowledge of SAP S4 HANA and/or Oracle
- Expertise in MS office tools
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- Big 4 experience
- Preferred experience with a variety of analytics tools such as SAS, SQL, VBA, R, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx etc.
Education:
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology/ CAs / CPAs
Location:
- Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai/Kolkata
Shift Timings:
- 11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM IST as per business requirements
