Job Description Engineering Excellence Engineer Drive engineering best practices across the organization, focusing on code quality, automation, reliability, and performance. Design, develop, and maintain tools, frameworks, and dashboards to improve software development lifecycle (SDLC) efficiency. Collaborate with engineering teams to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for technical improvement. Champion continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices; automate build, test, and deployment pipelines. Promote and facilitate adoption of modern development practices such as test-driven development (TDD), pair programming, and code reviews. Lead initiatives to improve engineering onboarding, knowledge sharing, and documentation standards. Analyze engineering metrics (e.g., deployment frequency, mean time to recovery, code coverage) and provide actionable insights. Serve as a liaison between engineering, DevOps, QA, and product management to align on technical excellence goals. Conduct regular assessments and audits of engineering practices, tools, and technologies. Mentor and train engineers on best practices for writing maintainable, scalable, and secure code.
