Your next role As a BIM Specialist your role will be to develop a strong BIM team within Buro Happold India there by enhancing the existing team’s capabilities to deliver the projects with quality. You will also monitor the setting up, managing and coordinating the models/drawings with other engineering disciplines and will be working closely with the engineering and client teams. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, with a keen interest in the built environment and a passion for technology, particularly a willingness to use Dynamo, Grasshopper and Digital processes. As a capable BIM Specialist, we would expect you to be able to demonstrate: Extensive experience in the use of Autodesk software’s such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BIM360, ACC Project Setups in early days Contributing to BIM content creation An understanding of industry wide BIM standards Sound knowledge of Architectural, Structural and MEP services Guiding teams on BIM Modelling and drawing extraction Arranging regular training sessions Authoring BIM documents Review/commenting on BIM documents shared by other consultants/clients Mentoring Clash detection, resolution and reporting processes Representing Buro Happold India in BIM meetings Representing India region at global level A keen interest in implementation of digital design tools and scripting (Dynamo/ Grasshopper/ BHoM) to improve efficiency and workflows Capable of working independently or with minimal supervision Taking ownership of the BIM development in India region Knowledge sharing with subordinates Participation in computational workshops and presentation. Your Skills And Experience Confident, proactive character, ability to take the lead in challenging situations Interest in built environment Good communication skills Eagerness to learn and work as part of a multidisciplinary team Keen to grow into a role including the ability to lead BIM training and upskill other staff on BIM skills Previous experience in developing/using Dynamo, Grasshopper scripts would be preferred Preferred Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering What We Offer You Bring your knowledge and expertise to one of the world’s most respected consultancies.
