Your impact Jacobs is seeking a BIM Modeler who will provide drafting and modeling support for HVAC service. This position requires proficiency in Revit. Candidates must have a minimum of 5-7 years- experience providing BIM execution oversight, model management, model QC and VDC support. Knowledge of plumbing and Firefighting service modelling will be an added advantage. Daily Duties/Tasks Revit Modelling for Plumbing & Fire Fighting for building Projects Co-ordination with other disciplinesProvide BIM modeling and design supportCoordinate and manage Revit modelsCreate Revit families' blocks.Obtain work assignments of either specific design elements or CAD drafting from project managersReview all work for completeness and accuracyUse checklists set-up for quality control on each project and submit work according to deadlines.Provide an accurate accounting of time spent on projects with descriptions for each time entry on a weekly basisComplete printing and plotting requestsObserve professional ethicsDemonstrate proactive approach to learning of new digital design tools Additional Responsibilities Are As Follows Ensures compliance with the approved BIM Execution and BIM Scope PlansSetting up project base filesAssemble composite design models for coordination meetingsFacilitate use of composite design models in design coordination/clash detection meetings and provides detection reports by the identification and resolution of all hard and soft collisions Coordinate BIM file exchange and archiving of milestone submittals. Here's what you'll need Requirements Five+ years of BIM experience on complex ME projectsDomestic profiles can also be considered, they should have worked for Hotels, Entertainment, Airport and Data Center industries.Understanding of MEP SystemsKnowledge of, and proven practical background in, Autodesk Revit and related Building Information Modeling softwareFamiliarity with Design Visualization applications such as Autodesk 360 (Cloud Rendering), 3D Studio Max and Navisworks.Familiarity with ProjectWise, MicroStation Echo Sim 3D and Bluebeam Software’s. Expectations Ability to articulately convey (verbally, visually, graphically) digital design concepts to design and delivery professionals with varying levels of understanding Demonstrate a reliable, responsive, and positive work ethic with the highest degree of integrity.Ability to exercise judgment and discretion and to set priorities and manage competing demands.Demonstrated ability to develop learning material, deliver effective training and provide ongoing education and support to Revit project teams Punctuality.Ability to adhere to deadlines.Possess a strong work ethic.Experience on Hospitality (Malls, Hotels, Residential, High Rise Building, Mixed Use projects) Healthcare and will be an added advantageExperience working with Middle East region is an added advantage.
