Role & responsibilities

• Scrutinizing discounts given to corporate and insurance companies according to the MOU.
• Updating company tariff periodically as per Memorandums of Understanding (MOU).
• Maintaining and updating agreements, Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) and complete records of the Corporate Office.
• Maintaining records of authorities and officers of the respective corporates.
• Handling and resolving grievances that arise from corporates and TPAs, such as disallowances, queries from TPAs and corporates.
• Preparing duty roster for the executives.
• Cross-checking the medicine investigation and surgery clearances after verifying the approvals.
• Checking approvals related to co-payment, room rent, differences and any other non- payables collected from the patient.
• Cross-checking the medicine, investigation and surgery clearances given by the associates after verifying the approvals.
• Ensuring appropriate authorization and validity period (time limit, terms, authority for issue of the letter, ceiling limit, hospitalization period, outer limit, etc.)
• Tracking the record of hospitalization expenditure and growth of expenditure to ensure its coverage by the company (ceiling limit of the patient).
• Securing the diagnostics reports from various departments before discharge of the patient, doing prompt follow-up for availing them post discharge to attach with the bill.
• Scrutinizing notification of deviations from expected areas of billing.
