About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable backend solutions using Node.js (must-have).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, DevOps, product, QA) to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Work on microservices architecture, ensuring efficient communication between services.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Manage and optimize databases - MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and delivery.
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) for hosting, monitoring, and scaling backend services.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices across the engineering team.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Expertise in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of databases - MongoDB (NoSQL) and PostgreSQL (SQL).
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS preferred) - EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Solid understanding of API design, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Golang is an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
