Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Proposal Engineer to join our dynamic team at HECS. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for preparing technical and commercial proposals for water and wastewater treatment plants including STP, ETP, WTP, UF, RO, and ZLD systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, competitive, and timely proposals, while also supporting engineering, sales, and procurement activities. Responsibilities: Prepare detailed proposals for STP, ETP, WTP, UF,RO, and ZLD projects. Create and review P&ID drawings in coordination with the engineering team. Support pre-sales technical discussions with clients and internal stakeholders. Conduct design calculations and prepare technical documentation. Liaise with procurement to gather vendor quotes and material specifications. Contribute to business development through effective planning and proposal strategies. Candidate Key Profile: Proven experience in proposal preparation and technical writing. Strong knowledge of STP, ETP, WTP and RO systems. Solid understanding of design calculations and process engineering. Good coordination and communication skills for procurement and inter-departmental collaboration. Logical thinker with excellent analytical and project management abilities. Educational Qualifications: B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical/Environmental or Chemical Engineering/ M.Tech in Environmental / Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (Preferred) Preferred Skills: ‘Proposal Preparation’ ‘ETP / STP / WTP / UF/ RO Plant’ knowledge ‘P&ID and Process Design’ Business Planning & Project Management Strong Analytical & Logical Reasoning Skills
