Bicycle Technician Cum Sales Executive

We are a family-owned business and an exclusive and authorised dealer of brands Cradiac , Fittrip , Battalion Bikes , Bonzai , Jamis bicycles in West Bengal. A Bicycle Technician, also known as a Bicycle Mechanic, is responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing bicycles to ensure they are safe and perform optimally. This role combines technical skills with customer service, as technicians often interact directly with clients to address their cycling needs. Key Responsibilities: Assembly and Setup: Assemble new bicycles, ensuring all components are correctly installed and adjusted for optimal performance. Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting bicycle parts. Repair or replace broken, worn, or defective components, including brakes, gears, tires, and chains. Customization: Assist customers in selecting suitable accessories and components to personalize their bicycles according to their preferences and riding styles. Diagnostic Services: Identify issues with bicycle performance and recommend appropriate solutions. Utilize problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical challenges. Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by greeting patrons, answering questions, and offering guidance on bicycle maintenance and selection. Communicate directly with customers concerning necessary or suggested repairs. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all work performed. Assist in managing inventory levels of bicycle parts and accessories, ensuring availability of commonly used items. Workshop Maintenance: Keep the service area clean and organized. Ensure that tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored. Requirements: Experience: Previous experience as a bicycle mechanic or in a similar technical role is preferred but not always required. Technical Knowledge: Basic Understanding of working with mechanical tools Customer Service Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide friendly, professional service. Education: A College diploma or equivalent is typically required. The Technician/mechanic would be responsible for overall assembly and services for all bicycles.
