Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify candidate documents including education, employment, and identity proofs.
  • Conduct background checks with previous employers, educational institutions, and other relevant authorities.
  • Perform criminal record verifications using authorized legal databases.
  • Prepare and share detailed background verification reports in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with external verification agencies and internal HR/recruitment teams.
  • Ensure strict adherence to data privacy, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies.
  • Identify, document, and escalate any discrepancies or red flags during the verification process.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in background verification, HR operations, or compliance (preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive data.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple verification cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements, and data privacy regulations is an advantage.
