Job Description

Role Overview: As a Benefits Administrator II at UKG, you will be responsible for providing operational support throughout the entire employee benefits life cycle. Your role will involve overseeing key operational tasks related to Benefit Services and ensuring high attention to detail and quality of work output. Your ability to work effectively in a task-oriented environment will be crucial for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Review and process open enrollment activities, including file deliveries and census files - Review and process ongoing EDI File Verification, identifying and resolving errors based on pre-defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) - Conduct customer data audits based on SOPs - Specialize in specific tasks and track time spent on activities - Identify process improvement opportunities and communicate with leadership - Suggest updates in SOPs based on process dynamics Qualifications: - 1-3 years of work experience in Benefits related teams - Working knowledge of U.S. Benefits Administration, ACA, ERISA guidelines, and HIPAA Compliance - Ability to work in US shifts Preferred Qualifications/Skills: - Exposure to Open Enrollment activities - EDI experience is a plus - Strong background in customer-facing deliveries - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) - Industry-level benefits certification will be a plus Interpersonal Skills: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Self-starter with motivation to succeed - Excellent customer service skills - Ability to handle multiple tasks under stringent timelines - Highly motivated and team-oriented Education/Certification/License: - Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, Commerce, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience In conclusion, as a Benefits Administrator II at UKG, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of employee benefits services.
