Job Summary

Bench Sales Recruiter

Key Responsibilities

  • Consultant Marketing:

    Actively market bench consultants (H1B, GC, USC, OPT, CPT) to vendors, clients, and staffing partners.
  • Requirement Gathering:

    Work closely with vendors and clients to understand job openings and match suitable bench consultants.
  • Relationship Management:

    Build and maintain strong relationships with

    prime vendors, implementation partners, and direct clients

    .
  • Submissions:

    Submit consultants to relevant job openings with strong emphasis on quality, speed, and suitability.
  • Negotiations:

    Negotiate job offers, rates, and contract terms with vendors and clients.
  • Follow-Up:

    Track submissions, interview schedules, and feedback until placement is closed.
  • Vendor Networking:

    Develop and grow vendor lists, strengthen existing partnerships, and scout new business opportunities.
  • Database Management:

    Maintain consultant profiles, marketing reports, tracking sheets, and submission logs.
  • Consultant Support:

    Ensure consultants are prepared for interviews, provide market insights, and assist with onboarding once placed.
  • Compliance:

    Ensure submissions and placements comply with company policies and US staffing guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience

    as a Bench Sales Recruiter in the US IT staffing industry.
  • Proven experience working with

    H1B, GC, USC, OPT, CPT consultants

    .
  • Strong knowledge of

    US job portals

    (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn).
  • Ability to market consultants across multiple technologies, including Java, .NET, QA, DevOps, Data Engineering, Cloud, etc.
  • Excellent

    written and verbal communication skills

    .
  • Strong

    negotiation and relationship-building

    abilities.
  • Familiarity with

    US tax terms

    (W2, C2C, 1099) and vendor management.
  • Ability to work in

    US time zones

    (night shift preferred).
  • Proficiency in maintaining documentation and recruitment trackers.
