The ideal candidate will be responsible for production planning, quality control, dispatch coordination, and client handling while ensuring smooth operations on the shop floor.Key Responsibilities:1. Production Management:Oversee the entire production process for transformer tanks, core channels, and fabricated components.Ensure timely manufacturing and adherence to quality and industry standards.Optimize production workflows to minimize waste and improve efficiency.Coordinate with the procurement team for raw material availability.2. Quality Control & Compliance:Implement quality checks at various stages of production.Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.Identify defects and resolve quality-related issues promptly.3. Dispatch & Logistics:Supervise the packaging, labeling, and dispatch of finished products.Maintain records of dispatched materials and track deliveries.Coordinate with transporters to ensure timely and cost-effective logistics.4. Client Handling & Coordination:Interact with clients regarding production schedules, dispatch status, and quality concerns.Ensure client specifications are met and address any escalations professionally.Maintain strong business relationships with existing and potential customers.5. Team Leadership & Supervision:Lead and manage the production workforce, including supervisors and laborers.Train and motivate the team for higher productivity and skill development.Ensure compliance with safety protocols and factory regulations.Requirements:Experience: Minimum 5+ years in MS/SS fabrication, preferably in transformer tanks or heavy metal structures.Technical Knowledge: Understanding of welding, cutting, CNC operations, AutoCAD, and fabrication techniques.Leadership Skills: Ability to manage a team, delegate tasks, and drive productivity.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot production issues and ensure smooth operations.Communication: Strong coordination skills to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
