Job Description

Overview : The Business Development Manager- Building Finishing systems (BFS) and Sealing and Bonding (SB) will be responsible for managing the product portfolio of Tile Adhesives and Tile Grouts, Sealants and Bonding adhesives including business strategy, lifecycle management, market positioning, and sales enablement, key account/initiative steering with sales for India. This role requires close collaboration with sales, RD, marketing, and supply chain teams to drive market share growth and profitability. 1. Product Strategy Management Develop and implement product strategies for BFS SB based on market needs, competition, and company objectives. Manage the product lifecycle from development to end-of-life, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation. Define and optimize the product mix, pricing, and packaging to align with market demands and business goals. 2. Market Research Competitive Analysis Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Analyze competitor products, pricing, and positioning to define competitive advantage. Gather feedback from customers, dealers, and applicators to drive product improvements. 3. Sales Business Development Support Provide technical and commercial support to the sales team to enhance product penetration. Develop sales tools, presentations, and training materials for internal teams and channel partners. Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and target key segments such as contractors, OEMs, applicators developers architects. 4. Product Development Innovation Work closely with RD to develop new products and improve existing ones based on market requirements. Evaluate raw materials, production processes, and performance benchmarks for product enhancement. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. 5. Marketing Brand Positioning Develop go-to-market strategies, product promotions, and marketing campaigns in coordination with the marketing team. Support digital marketing initiatives and content creation for social media, website, and technical literature. Participate in trade shows, industry events, and exhibitions to promote Sika BFS SB solutions. 6. Supply Chain Operations Coordination Work closely with supply chain and production teams to ensure product availability, inventory management, and cost optimization. Forecast demand and plan product rollouts efficiently.
