🎯 Role Overview
We are looking for a
Business Development Manager (BDM)
to lead, motivate, and scale a high-performing sales team of
Business Development Associates (BDAs)
and
Sales Representatives
.As a BDM, you’ll drive revenue, lead performance coaching, and ensure your team consistently meets and exceeds enrollment targets. This is a leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced, learner-focused environments and wants to make a measurable impact in EdTech.
💼 Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Sales Management
- Lead a team of BDAs and Sales Representatives to achieve revenue and enrollment targets.
- Continuously monitor team performance and conduct structured coaching for skill enhancement.
- Foster an energetic, empathetic, and data-driven team culture focused on learner success.
Sales Execution
- Counsel learners to understand their career aspirations and demonstrate how NxtWave’s CCBP 4.0 programs can accelerate their professional journey.
- Own the complete sales cycle — from lead engagement and program counseling to closure and post-sale relationship management.
- Maintain accurate CRM entries for all lead interactions and follow-ups.
Performance Monitoring & Process Excellence
- Audit calls, track conversions, and ensure adherence to sales SOPs.
- Handle escalations, maintain customer satisfaction, and continuously improve sales efficiency.
- Analyze performance metrics and suggest strategies to improve show-up and closure rates.
Collaboration & Insights
- Work closely with the marketing team to share insights on learner behavior, objections, and trends.
- Align with other departments to improve funnel performance, lead quality, and post-enrollment engagement.
🧠 What We’re Looking For
Experience & Skills
- 1+ years of experience managing a B2C sales team, preferably in EdTech, Counseling, or Upskilling sectors.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong proficiency in English and at least one regional language (Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Hindi, or Tamil).
- Proven experience in achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Data-driven approach with a focus on process adherence and continuous improvement.

- Highly dedicated and performance-driven, with a learner-first mindset.
- Empathetic, patient, and motivated to lead by example.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with a focus on team retention and motivation.
🌍 Languages Known
- Native speakers of Kannada, Marathi, Odia, or Tamil preferred.
- Excellent proficiency in English (spoken and written).
