The Assistant Manager Fitout is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and managing all tenant fit-out activities within the mall. The role ensures the timely completion of store interiors while adhering to mall guidelines, safety standards, and quality parameters. It also serves as a key liaison between tenants, contractors, consultants, and mall management to enable smooth project execution. Key Responsibilities Oversee the entire tenant fit-out process from design approval to store handover. Ensure all fit-out activities comply with mall guidelines, design standards, and statutory requirements . Coordinate with tenants, architects, contractors, and mall management to resolve design or execution issues. Monitor daily progress of fit-out works and ensure timely completion of store interiors. Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality, safety, and adherence to approved drawings. Review and approve fit-out drawings, MEP layouts, shop fronts, and signage as per mall standards. Ensure all contractors follow safety protocols , permit-to-work systems, and operational guidelines. Maintain fit-out documentation, approvals, checklists, and progress reports. Handle coordination for utilities—HVAC, electrical load, fire systems, plumbing, and data connections. Identify potential risks or delays and provide proactive solutions to keep the project on track. Manage store handover and takeover procedures, ensuring spaces are ready for tenant occupancy. Support tenants through the entire pre-opening process until store opening. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. Experience in mall fit-out, retail construction, interiors, project coordination, or facility operations. Strong understanding of interior fit-out works , MEP services, and safety standards. Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver within tight timelines. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (preferred), and project reporting tools. Other Requirements Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced retail/mall environment. Willingness to work flexible hours based on project needs.
