Greet customers warmly and take accurate food and drink orders in person and/or via POS. Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages (espresso drinks, filter coffee, teas, frappes, etc.) following your café’s recipes and standards. Serve simple food items such as pastries, sandwiches, and snacks where applicable. Operate and care for equipment (espresso machine, grinders, brewers, blender, POS, etc.) and report maintenance issues. Maintain a clean, organized bar area, utensils, and seating area, following food safety and hygiene standards. Handle payments (cash, card, UPI, etc.), issue receipts, and follow cash-handling procedures. Restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, packaging, and other supplies; inform the manager when stock is low. Provide product knowledge and recommendations, upsell specials, and ensure every guest has a positive experience.
