Job Description

Beverage Preparation: Making and serving various coffee and tea beverages, including espresso drinks, lattes, cappuccinos, and teas. Customer Service: Greeting customers, taking orders, and providing recommendations or explanations about menu items. Cash Handling: Handling cash and credit card transactions, operating cash registers, and balancing drawers. Work Area Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining the work area, coffee machines, and other equipment. Stock Management: Replenishing supplies, such as coffee beans, syrups, and other ingredients. Food Preparation: In some cases, baristas may also assist with preparing basic food items, such as sandwiches or pastries. Skills and Qualities: Knowledge of Coffee and Brewing Techniques: Familiarity with different coffee beans, brewing methods, and espresso-making techniques. Customer Service Skills: Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Speed and Accuracy: Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
