Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kanpur for a Banquet Sales Manager. The Banquet Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales for the hotel’s banquet and event facilities by identifying potential clients and nurturing strong relationships. The role includes coordinating with clients to understand their event needs, developing proposals, managing the logistics of events, and liaising with the catering and operations teams to ensure flawless execution. The role also involves meeting sales targets, tracking trends in the industry, and representing the hotel at events or sales calls to generate leads.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Sales Management and a results-driven approach to achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Skills in Catering Sales and Event Planning to deliver seamless services and curated event experiences for clients.
• Exceptional interpersonal and Customer Service skills to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
• Understanding of the hospitality industry or prior banquet sales experience is highly advantageous.
• Experience with CRM software and sales reporting tools is recommended.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
