Job Description: Banquet Sales Executive
Are you a highly motivated and engaging individual with a passion for guest satisfaction and a knack for sales? We are looking for a dynamic Banquet Sales Executive to join our team, reporting directly to the Banquet Manager.This role is the primary point of contact for all banquet inquiries, focusing on clear communication, persuasive sales, and meticulous record-keeping.Key Responsibilities:1. Guest Communication & Sales:* Serve as the main liaison for all potential banquet and event clients.* Proactively communicate the full range of banquet facilities to potential guests.* Present detailed availability including dates, booking slots, and package options.* Provide comprehensive details on all venue options, including:* Lawns: Outdoor event spaces (with designated capacities).* Halls: Traditional indoor banquet areas (with designated capacities).* Clubs/Restaurants: Semi-private or full venue buy-out options (with designated capacities).* Master the intricacies of our catering services, providing expert information on:* Food and beverage options.* Customization possibilities for menus.* Various catering styles (e.g., buffet, plated service, live stations).* Pricing and package tiers.* Skillfully negotiate and customize proposals to meet client needs and budgets.* Achieve high guest satisfaction by actively listening, addressing concerns, and persuading guests to book their parties, corporate events, and celebrations with us.2. Venue Management & Capacity Details:* Maintain a detailed, up-to-date knowledge of all banquet spaces and their maximum pax capacity (e.g., Grand Ballroom: 300 pax, Terrace Lawn: 150 pax, Private Dining Club: 40 pax).* Ensure accurate information is always communicated regarding setup limitations and venue specifications.3. Documentation & Administration:* Create and maintain all banquet-related records with meticulous accuracy, including:* Booking sheets and reservation logs.* Client contracts and correspondence.* Detailed event orders (BEOs) for handover to operations.* Sales reports and revenue tracking.* Follow up on pending inquiries, outstanding payments, and post-event feedback.Required Skills & Qualifications:* Proven experience in Sales, Hospitality, or Customer Service, preferably in a banquet, hotel, or events setting.* Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) with a professional and friendly demeanor.* Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities with a clear sales focus.* Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills (proficiency in relevant software/CRM is a plus).* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on business needs.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are dedicated to turning inquiries into unforgettable events, apply today!Would you like me to refine any section of this description, or perhaps draft a list of specific venue capacities to be included?
