Backend Intern (Java / Spring Boot)

Role Description

This is a full-time remote internship for a Backend Intern specializing in Java and Spring Boot. The Backend Intern will work on developing, testing, and deploying backend components and APIs for payment processing systems. Responsibilities include implementing RESTful APIs, maintaining database integrations, optimizing system performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system scalability. The intern will gain hands-on experience in leveraging Java-based frameworks and contributing to a robust financial infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java programming and familiarity with the Spring Boot framework.
• Understanding of database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of API development, RESTful services, and integrating third-party APIs.
• Familiarity with software version control systems such as Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug code effectively.
• A proactive mindset with excellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
• Pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Additional knowledge of cloud platforms or microservices architecture is a plus.
