Backend / Full Stack Developer

As a Backend / Full Stack Developer at this company, you will play a crucial role in owning and building robust backend services using Node.js, Python, or Go. Your responsibilities will include architecting and managing APIs to support the Zippy device, mobile app, and cloud. You will also be responsible for building integrations with voice agents / AI APIs such as OpenAI, Deepgram, ElevenLabs, etc. Additionally, you will manage the AWS infrastructure, collaborate with frontend developers to deliver features, optimize for performance, scale, and cost, and write clean, testable, and maintainable code. It is important to stay updated with AI and voice technologies to bring new ideas to the team. Key Responsibilities: - Own and build robust backend services using Node.js, Python, or Go - Architect and manage APIs for Zippy device, mobile app, and cloud - Build integrations with voice agents / AI APIs - Manage AWS infrastructure (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, EC2, CloudWatch, etc.) - Collaborate with frontend developers (React/Flutter) to deliver features - Optimize for performance, scale, and cost - Write clean, testable, and maintainable code - Stay updated with AI and voice technologies Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of backend or full stack experience - Strong knowledge of AWS or similar cloud platforms like GCP or Azure - Experience with Node.js, Python, or Go - Familiarity with AI/Voice agent integrations - Good understanding of REST APIs and WebSockets - Experience working with databases (SQL + NoSQL) - Exposure to frontend technologies like React.js and/or Flutter - Comfortable in startup / lean team environments - Good communication and ownership mindset If you join this company, you will have the opportunity to work on a category-defining product for kids & families, develop fun and cutting-edge voice + AI experiences, experiment with new technologies, be part of a flexible and remote-friendly team, and make a real impact on children's learning and play.,
