Backend Engineer - Services & APIs

As a Backend Engineer at Arbot Studio located in New Delhi, you will be responsible for taking ownership of the core services and API architecture to strengthen the backend infrastructure, improve system performance, and support new product initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs. - Collaborate closely with frontend, AI, and infrastructure teams for seamless integrations. - Ensure scalability, reliability, and security across all backend components. - Contribute to architectural decisions and participate in code reviews. - Optimize system performance and troubleshoot production issues. Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of professional backend development experience. - Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, or similar backend languages. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Familiarity with database design (SQL/NoSQL) and distributed systems. - Understanding of API design principles, authentication, and data flow. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with microservices architecture. - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
