Backend Engineer (Java + Spring Boot)

AutonomOps AI is a fast-growing startup building multi-AI agent systems that revolutionize Ops with LLM-driven capabilities. We need a 10x Engineer proficient in proficient in Java and Spring Boot, eager to architect and ship microservices in a fast-paced environment. If you thrive on bridging enterprise frameworks with cutting-edge AI solutions, value TDD, and enjoy learning new technologies quickly, this role is for you. Hackathon enthusiasm and open-source contributions are strongly valued. Responsibilities Microservices Development : Build scalable, fault-tolerant microservices in Java (Spring Boot), implementing REST APIs and event-driven architectures. Cloud & CI/CD : Containerize apps with Docker, orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes, and configure pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. Performance & Observability : Optimize code for concurrency, latency, and reliability; integrate metrics/logs via Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk. Test-Driven Development : Maintain high code quality with unit, integration, and regression tests (JUnit, Mockito). Collaboration : Work with cross-functional teams (SRE, AI, Frontend) to ensure seamless data exchange between services and AI/ML modules. Innovation : Engage in hackathons or open-source communities, exploring new tools and techniques to enhance stability and performance. Tech Stack & Skills Core : Java (17+), Spring Boot, Maven/Gradle Testing : JUnit, Mockito, TDD best practices Cloud : Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP CI/CD : Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Bonus : React, Observability (Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana), hackathon/open-source experience Qualifications Experience : 2-5 years in backend or microservices development Skills : Solid Java & Spring Boot fundamentals; strong problem-solving ability Mindset : Agile, able to pivot swiftly in a startup environment Teamwork : Excellent communication and collaboration Looking to Differentiate Yourself?
