Backend Engineer III SAP Finance

As an experienced SAP Finance professional, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Finance modules in a Private Cloud environment. Your duties will include conducting requirement-gathering workshops, translating business needs into functional specifications, and integrating with related modules such as Controlling (CO), Procurement (MM), and Sales & Distribution (SD). Key Responsibilities: - Lead and support the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Finance modules in a Private Cloud environment. - Conduct requirement-gathering workshops and translate business needs into functional specifications. - Integrate with related modules such as Controlling (CO), Procurement (MM), and Sales & Distribution (SD). - Design and test financial processes including closing operations, financial reporting, and taxation (GST, VAT, etc.). - Support data migration and validation from legacy systems to S/4HANA using tools like LTMC or Migration Cockpit. - Collaborate with Basis and technical teams for system setup and performance optimization in the Private Cloud environment. - Conduct user training, prepare documentation (FS, BPML, test scripts), and support UAT and go-live activities. - Work on continuous improvement and change requests post-implementation. - Ensure compliance with corporate governance and internal audit standards. Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of SAP Finance experience, with at least 2 full-cycle implementations in SAP S/4HANA (preferably Private Cloud Edition). - Strong hands-on experience in FI configuration (GL, AP, AR, AA, Banking, etc.). - Good understanding of Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and Central Finance concepts. - Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and Fit-to-Standard process design. - Integration knowledge with CO, MM, SD, and HR modules. - Exposure to SAP Fiori apps and analytical reporting tools. - Familiarity with SAP BTP, Extensibility options, and Cloud ALM (nice to have). - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Professional certification in SAP S/4HANA Finance is an advantage. Please note that a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required for this role. Relevant certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE Programmer, AWS Certified Developer, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate are preferred.,
