Design and optimize APIs to ensure efficient data exchange between front-end and back-end systems. Implement data security measures, including authentication and authorization mechanisms Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance issues to ensure smooth application functionality. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code while adhering to coding standards. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging backend technologies. Document code, APIs, and technical specifications for seamless project communication. Requirements Strong proficiency in Node.js and frameworks like Express.js or Koa. Solid understanding of RESTful API development and integration. Experience with database systems (MongoDB, MySQL, or similar). Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for integration purposes. Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
