Python Developer (3-5 Years) Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai (Work from Office) Job Description About the Role We are looking for a skilled and experienced Python Developer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Django and Wagtail CMS , with experience in SQL- based databases and deploying applications on AWS or other cloud infrastructure . This role involves end-to-end backend development and collaboration with cross-functional teams to build scalable, maintainable web applications and content platforms. Key Responsibilities ● Application Development: ○ Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python , Django , and Wagtail CMS . ○ Build and manage APIs and integrations with internal and external systems. ● Database Design & Management: ○ Write efficient, optimized SQL queries. ○ Manage and maintain data structures, migrations, and performance tuning for SQL databases. ● CMS & Content Management: ○ Customize and extend Wagtail CMS functionality to meet business requirements. ○ Work closely with content and product teams to ensure smooth editorial workflows.● Cloud Infrastructure: ○ Deploy and manage Django applications on AWS or similar cloud platforms. ○ Collaborate with DevOps teams to manage CI/CD pipelines, server environments, and monitoring. ● Quality & Performance: ○ Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices. ○ Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks. Required Qualifications ● Experience: ○ 3 to 5 years of professional experience as a backend Python developer. ● Technical Skills: ○ Strong proficiency in Python , Django , and Wagtail CMS . ○ Solid experience with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL). ○ Good understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and application deployment. ○ Familiarity with version control tools like Git. ● Soft Skills: ○ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. ○ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. ○ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
