About the Role

Were seeking an experienced Python Backend Developer with 3 to 6 years of experience in developing scalable and secure backend systems using AWS services. Youll play a critical role in designing and implementing microservices architecture, cloud-native solutions, and integrating multiple data sources into a single system.

What You Will Do

1. Backend Development: Design and develop scalable backend systems using Python and popular frameworks like Flask or Django.

2. Microservices Architecture: Develop and deploy microservices-based systems, leveraging AWS services like SQS, Step Functions, and API Gateway.

3. Cloud-Native Solutions: Build cloud-native solutions using AWS services like Lambda, CloudFront, and IAM.

4. Data Integration: Integrate multiple data sources into a single system, ensuring data consistency and security.

5. API Development: Design and develop RESTful/SOAP APIs using API Gateway and AWS Lambda.

What You Need to Be Successful

1. Technical Skills:

- Expertise in Python backend development frameworks like Flask or Django.

- Strong knowledge of JSON data handling and AWS services.

- Experience with microservices architecture development and cloud-native solutions.

2. AWS Services:

- Knowledge of SQS, Step Functions, AWS IAM, CloudFront, and API Gateway.

- Experience with DynamoDB, RDS, and AWS AppSync.

3. Security and Authentication:

- Good understanding of identity management and authentication protocols like OAuth 2.0 and OIDC.

4. Data Management:

- Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM) frameworks like SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.

5. Collaboration and Testing:

- Ability to collaborate on projects and work independently when required.

- Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks.

Bonus Points if You Have

1. Experience with AWS ECS and VPC: Knowledge of containerization using AWS ECS and virtual private cloud (VPC) configuration.

2. Experience with Serverless Computing: Experience with serverless computing using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.

3. Knowledge of DevOps Practices: Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like CI/CD pipelines.
