Backend Developer - Nest.JS

As a Backend Developer (NestJS) with 1-2 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in building robust, scalable, and high-performance backend applications using your expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and databases. You will be part of a fast-paced environment collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and deliver high-quality features. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop, test, deploy, and maintain backend services using NestJS framework. - Design and build RESTful APIs to support web and mobile applications. - Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers. - Work with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) for efficient data management. - Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control. - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. - Debug and troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems. - Optimize backend performance for scalability. - Participate in code reviews, peer programming, and technical discussions. - Stay updated with emerging technologies for proactive improvements. **Required Skills & Qualifications:** - 1-2 years of hands-on experience with NestJS/Node.js. - Proficiency in JavaScript & TypeScript. - Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems. - Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. - Familiarity with Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket, and CI/CD workflows. - Knowledge of error handling, logging, and monitoring in production systems. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment. **Good to Have (Preferred Skills):** - Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments. - Familiarity with GraphQL APIs. - Knowledge of unit testing frameworks. - Understanding of message queues. - Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments. **Educational Qualification:** - BE/BTech/MCA in Computer Science or related field.
