Backend Developer

Job Description

We re looking for experienced software engineers to join our team in India to help build the future of work. Successful candidates will be working closely in a cross-functional team with other engineers, product managers and our UI/UX designers. They will be responsible for owning development projects from start to completion; this includes helping plan features, build services and deploy infrastructure. Responsibilities: Develop new user-facing features using TypeScript/JavaScript on both frontend and backend. Ensure thorough test coverage with automated unit tests and end-to-end tests. Maintain high-quality standards and conduct quality checks before deployment. Contribute to continuous improvement of team practices and processes. Research new technologies and share insights with the team. Actively participate in agile ceremonies and deliver value in two-week sprints. Work with AWS platform team to deploy infrastructure using Kubernetes. Influence overall application architecture and direction. Required Skills: 2+ years of overall experience, including 1+ years in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Strong experience in Node.js development. Experience in building microservices-based architectures. Proficiency in relational databases and NoSQL solutions. Understanding of CI/CD, unit testing, and automated end-to-end testing. Knowledge of functional programming patterns. Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a global remote team across time zones. Excellent communication skills for both technical and executive discussions. Experience working in Agile methodologies. Good to Have Skills: Experience in product-based startups. Strong expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript. Affinity for profiling and analyzing code for improvements. Prior experience with microservices architectures.
