Job Title: Back-End Developer

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Back-End Developer who can design, build, and maintain robust APIs and server-side applications to power scalable EdTech platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and project managers to create efficient and secure systems that enhance our users’ digital learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side logic, APIs, and database schemas.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and security.
• Implement RESTful APIs and ensure high performance and responsiveness.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in production and development environments.
• Manage version control, code documentation, and deployment pipelines.
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Firebase) for backend hosting and data storage.
• Participate in system architecture design and technology stack discussions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 1+ year of professional experience in back-end development.
• Proficiency in Python (FastAPI/Django/Flask) or Node.js frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, authentication systems (JWT/OAuth), and server security.
• Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS/Firebase) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of Git, Docker, and containerized environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage):

• Experience with ReactJS or front-end frameworks for integration.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and API Gateway design.
• Hands-on with GraphQL, Redis, or message queues (RabbitMQ/Kafka).
• Exposure to mobile app back-end integration and payment gateway APIs.
• Familiarity with AI/ML APIs or data analytics pipelines.
