Backend Architect / Software Architect

Role Overview: Droisys, an innovation technology company, is seeking a Backend Architect / Software Architect with expertise in Python, FastAPI/Django, Microservices, and Kafka. As a part of the team, you will lead architecture design, develop high-level system design, collaborate with engineering and product teams, and guide the implementation of distributed, microservices-based systems. Key Responsibilities: - Lead architecture design and define scalable backend systems aligned with business needs. - Develop high-level system design and architecture, identifying main components such as services, databases, and message queues. - Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions. - Architect and implement distributed, microservices-based systems with Python (FastAPI/Django). - Design and manage event-driven architectures using Kafka and ensure seamless data flow between components. - Define data models, API contracts, and service boundaries for scalability and maintainability. - Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, performance, and security standards. - Guide engineering teams on architectural decisions, design trade-offs, and technology selection. - Support scalability planning, performance optimization, and system reliability improvements. - Mentor development teams, perform architecture reviews, and ensure consistent implementation of design principles. Qualification Required: - 10+ years of backend engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in an architect role. - Strong expertise in Python, particularly FastAPI and/or Django. - Proven experience designing and implementing Microservices and Event-Driven Architectures. - Deep understanding of Kafka, RESTful APIs, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Strong system design knowledge, including scalability, fault tolerance, and data consistency strategies. - Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, caching systems (Redis), and message brokers. - Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps pipelines. - Excellent analytical, communication, and technical leadership skills.
