Back-end Software Development Engineering Senior Engineer

As a Back-end Software Development Engineering Senior Engineer at TekWissen, you will be a part of a team supporting the development and maintenance of the client's Finance application. Your responsibilities will include: - Working on a balanced product team to define, design, develop, and deploy React based front-end on the GCP platform. - Conducting proof-of-concepts to support new features and ensuring quality, timely delivery using Agile XP practices. - Developing the technical solution and collaborating with the Technical Architect to update the technical design. - Delivering valuable, working, tested, quality software released at market speed. - Collaborating directly with product managers and product owners to prioritize deliverables towards business and user value with continuous improvement and an innovative mindset. - Developing and automating unit and integration test scripts. - Automating performance monitoring and notification in the event of failures using best practices and tools. - Researching new technologies and implementing enterprise technology shifts and new trends impacting the client's application delivery. - Participating in Full Stack eXtreme Programming (XP), Pair Programming, Test Driven Development (TDD), DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Security (SAST/DAST), and monitoring/logging/tracing tools (SPLUNK, Dynatrace, etc). - Engaging in Agile practices including stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint demos, and journey mapping. - Providing on-call, off-hours, and weekend support on a rotational basis. **Skills Required:** - Java, Spring Boot, GCP, Confluent Kafka - Microservices Architecture knowledge, Java Collections Framework **Skills Preferred:** - Spring Boot, Microservices, Microservices Architecture knowledge - Confluent Kafka, GCP, AWS, MySQL, Database - Oracle **Experience Required:** - 8+ years of experience in a hands-on technical role engaged in developing and implementing software applications in Java/J2EE with Spring Boot microservices and cloud-native technologies **Experience Preferred:** - Java, J2EE with Spring Boot microservices - Any cloud experience (GCP/AWS/Azure), Kafka, GraphQL **Education Required:** - Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree TekWissen Group is an equal opportunity employer supporting workforce diversity.,
