Backend Developer (NestJS, PostgreSQL) Location: Trichy , Chennai, Hyderabad (Work from Home) Type: Full-Time Experience: 4+ years Who You Are: * Youve built scalable, production-ready APIs in a fast-moving startup. * You understand event-driven architectures and real-time applications. * You have full ownership of backend systems, from database design to development. * You think beyond writing code you optimize performance, security, and scalability. * You’re comfortable debugging API bottlenecks, database queries, and production issues. Responsibilities: * Design and develop a NestJS backend with a modular, scalable architecture. * Build REST APIs and WebSocket services for real-time updates. * Optimize PostgreSQL queries, ensure proper indexing, and manage database migrations. * Implement role-based authentication & authorization (JWT, RBAC in NestJS). * Set up event-driven patterns (Redis pub/sub, background jobs, async processing). * Integrate with external api’s (JSON-RPC, XML-RPC, REST). * Optimize API response times (caching, Redis, database tuning). * Ensure secure API development (encryption, secure credentials storage). Must-Have Skills: * Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript * Experience with PostgreSQL, TypeORM (Migrations, Indexing, Performance Tuning) * Strong understanding of WebSockets (NestJS Gateways), Redis Pub/Sub * Authentication & Authorization: JWT, OAuth, RBAC * API optimization & security best practices Nice to Have: * Experience deploying on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Redis, NGINX) * Exposure to Kafka or other event-driven architectures. * Background in monitoring tools (Datadog, ELK, Prometheus, New Relic).
