🎯 What You’ll Do As a Founding Engineer , you’ll own core backend systems and DevOps infrastructure. You will work closely with the founding team to design scalable systems, ship features fast, and set the foundation for engineering culture and standards. Your key responsibilities: Architect, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Python (FastAPI/Django/Flask) Design and optimize relational ( PostgreSQL/MySQL ) and non-relational ( MongoDB/Redis ) data systems Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud infrastructure ( AWS/GCP/Azure ) Implement observability (monitoring, logging, alerting) and security best practices Own deployments and ensure system reliability, availability, and performance Contribute to technical decision-making, product roadmap, and hiring Thrive in ambiguity, take initiative, and move fast with ownership 🛠️ Tech Stack Languages : Python (FastAPI preferred) Databases : PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis DevOps : Docker, Kubernetes (optional), GitHub Actions, Terraform Cloud : AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.) Infra Monitoring : Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc. ✅ Requirements 5+ years of professional experience building backend systems Deep expertise in Python and experience designing scalable APIs Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases Hands-on DevOps experience: CI/CD, infra as code, containerization Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and performance optimization Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership Bonus: Experience working in fast-paced startups or as an early team member 🌟 What’s in it for you?
